Hey Gang,
Just a reminder that this year February has 29 days in
it.. That gives you this one extra day
to get registered for the Handbook give-away, if you haven’t already
registered.. It’s FREE and easy to sign
up.. You gotta’ do it if you haven’t already for sure.. What have you to lose??
Also.. Don’t forget
about the NOARS Winter Hamfest & Computer Show! Sunday, March 6th at the
VFW Post 1079 on 500 South Abbe Road in Elyria.. Doors open at 9am. Hope to see
ya’ there..!!
January and February have been a very busy months for me
going visiting with all of you.. I’ve just “popped in” on a number of meetings
lately and it is always fun to watch your expressions.. It seems like some weeks I’m on the road
almost every night. I love it. For those of you who don’t know, the Ohio
Section of the ARRL is the largest Section in the country. It’s even bigger
than a Division or two. So, with that in mind, it’s only fair to say that Ohio
also deserves to have a full time Section Manager, one that can freely travel
all over the state visiting with and yes, popping in on your club functions. Most
of all, I love representing YOU. So, don’t be surprised when I just drop-in at
your meeting or function. I really do love traveling and visiting with all of
you at your hamfests, club meetings, picnics and especially breakfasts. It’s
fantastic!
And don’t forget that Daylight Saving Time starts on Sunday,
March 13th this year.. That’s just a couple of weeks away. Spring
can’t be far behind if the time is changing!!
73, for now..
