Ohio Tornado Drill MOVED to Friday - March 6th

Hi Gang,

Just wanted to blast this important message out to all of you that are a part of the statewide Tornado Safety Drills..

Ohio Emergency Management officials have moved the statewide tornado drill that was scheduled for this Wednesday - March 4th. They have decided to push back the drill two days because more wintry weather is on the way.

Tornado sirens around the state were to blast Wednesday morning. But, because another winter storm is on the way, the test has been delayed until 9:50 a.m. on FRIDAY. The test will last three minutes.

The National Weather Service is forecasting a wintry mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain starting Tuesday morning with a changeover to rain during the day. Rain is then expected to change over to snow Tuesday night into Wednesday, with heavy snow possible Wednesday in some southern parts of the state.

Some low-lying areas could see flooding as well.
